After surviving the ‘millenium bug’ scare and a global recession we’ve made it through yet another decade.

Kicking off our Podcast for 2010 we’ve enlisted the help of our own DJ Cable to look into his ‘crystal ball’ and hand pick a selection of sounds we can expect to hear more of in the coming year.

Two time DMC and Alize remixed champion Essex based DJ Cable’s been rocking dancefloors up and down the country. Cable with a string of awards under his belt has also recently won Vice Magazine x Grolsch Block Party Mix competition. Currently pushing the whole “Thugstep” sound his Thugstep blends/mashups have not only been embraced by numerous DJs online and in the UK, but also major players such as Rusko in their club sets. With 2010 here, we can only expect bigger and better things.

So here goes… Get ready for a 45 minute mashup of everything from dubstep to glitch/electronica, grime, DnB, thugstep, southern hip hop and more.
